Arrange A        Speaking Engagement

“ Life is change.
Growth is optional.
Choose wisely. ”

Karen Kaiser Clark

I am a midlife divorce survivor on a mission to help

Because I have been through the divorce recovery journey myself, I can speak from the heart to people who are in pain. I am careful to make presentations that are relevant to women who have a religious background but are also helpful to those who may not have a relationship with God at all. My presentations are engaging and entertaining as well.

I do seminars, workshops, bootcamps and presentations in other formats for:

Community Groups

Including support groups, business groups, women’s groups, medical practices, domestic relations attorneys, counselors, and general audiences of women going through divorce.

My first support group, called R.A.D.I.C.A.L. Women did not have any specifically spiritual aspect to it. We talked about practical solutions to the everyday problems that a midlife divorce causes. Whether deeply spiritual or non-spiritual, a woman going through midlife divorce faces many of the same issues. I do encourage each of the women I speak with to search for and find her own spiritual foundation. I do usually mention that my foundation is a Judeo/Christian one, but I respect every other search for the bigger picture as well. However, my main thrust is helping women through the day-to-day struggles of this difficult (but potential-filled) transition. The pain caused by a midlife divorce affects women of every ethnic, religious and social group, and the solutions for getting better apply equally to all.

Church Groups

Including support groups, church leadership groups, ministry leaders, church-based community outreach programs, Christian professional groups and others.

I have a strong Christian background and a heartfelt commitment to help Christians who are struggling with divorce. Because divorce is seen as such a failure (and sometimes an outright sin) in the Christian community, often Christians have a harder time facing the reality of divorce and healing the hurts. I know that God hates divorce and that his plan is for us to honor our marriage vows, but often the Christian spouse cannot keep his or her partner in the marriage no matter how hard he or she tries. I want to help Christians see that God can use us powerfully for his glory because of what we have been through, and that part of our healing is in reaching out to others.
