“We don’t need more strength or more ability or greater opportunity. What we need is to use what we have.” ~ Basil S. Walsh
The best is yet to be? Is that what you were thinking when you woke up this morning? Maybe you are going through a rough time right now. Maybe sales are slow. Perhaps you are in the middle of a crisis. Or maybe you are just down on yourself for some reason. Regardless of your current circumstances, the best is yet to be, if you decide to take charge of your future!
You may be thinking that everywhere you look the economy is still slow, your genes or your situation is making it tough to be healthy, or you could be successful, if only the toxic people would get out of your life. That may be your truth at the moment, but it is also true that everywhere you look there are people succeeding despite all of those things.
Don’t let the economy be in charge.
Don’t let that cheeseburger and fries decide your destiny.
Don’t let that toxic person or situation drag you down with it.
Take charge and be determined enough, bold enough, and persistent enough to shape your own future!
“So we’re not giving up. How could we? Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace.” ~ 2 Corinthians 4:16 (The Message)
I’m going to take this post and run with it. Literally run, as in lace up my running shoes that have sat idle in the back of my closet (collecting dust bunnies) for far too long. I’m tired of feeling “beat up all the time” over the circumstances surrounding my life at the moment. My run may turn into a walk but that’s ok too. And then I’m going to come home and have ANOTHER bowl of ice cream because that really did make me feel better yesterday!
Thanks for the awesome (and oh so timely) post, Suzy!
